Dynex was founded in 1977 as a small
privately owned company operating just a
single extruder and has grown to a company
that employs over 100 full-time staff in an
operation that includes over 25 extrusion
lines. The growth of Dynex over the years
reflects the quality in products we provide
as well as our commitment to customer
service, building long-term relationships
and exceeding customer expectations. Dynex
has produced thousands of products since the
late 70’s, these products can be found
almost everywhere from an unseen component
in a finished good to a finished product in
its own right.
The “South Shop”, added in
1990, provides a distribution outlet for
customers in the South Island. In 1992 Dynex
Extrusions Ltd became a subsidiary of Marley
NZ LTD, itself part of the Aliaxis group of
companies. This relationship has allowed
Dynex to draw on the knowledge, experience
and technical skills of both Marley and the
Aliaxis’ international operation while
maintaining the flexibility to meet the
widely varying needs of its customers. Our People
The team at Dynex are an
enthusiastic and energetic team of highly
skilled professionals with many years of
experience in plastic extrusion. Our
development team possess a wealth of
technical knowledge that we are able to
provide our customers throughout the
