Total Development Package

Whether it is for an entrepreneur starting off or large multinationals, Dynex offers its customers a total development package, from initial concept development right through to manufacture and final delivery. Dynex is with you each step of the way. The Dynex technical team is highly skilled with many years of experience in plastic extrusion. The development team has access to full workshop and testing facilities to develop new products for customer approval. Initial development determines the best materials and manufacturing techniques to use to achieve the required results. Once the design has been finalised, materials selected and colour matched, initial tooling and trials are conducted. Further developments and improvements may be made, if required, before the product is placed into production. Once the required profile is manufactured any further fabrication can be conducted on site as part of the total production package before the finished product is despatched to its destination.

Co-extrusion

Dynex is well recognised as the New Zealand leader in co-extruded products. Co-extrusion is the process where two or more plastic materials are fused together to make a hybrid profile. Combining rigid and flexible materials offers the strengths of each material in a single product.

Materials

Materials available include:

Rigid, Flexible and Foamed PVC; Low, Medium and High Density Polyethylene; Polypropylene; Acrylics; ABS; Medium and High Impact Polystyrene; Santoprene; AES; EVA; PETG; and Polycarbonate.

Fabrication

Our fabrication capabilities mean that other options can be incorporated into the manufacturing process. This can either be as the product is produced, such as adding wire or polyester reinforcing thread to the extruded profile, or after the extrusion process is complete. Post extrusion fabrication can include additional cutting, punching, drilling, printing, embossing, forming, welding, cutting and addition of adhesive tapes.
